{Recital Day!}

Jaedyn has worked so hard all year, even missing a month of dance when she had her accident, she still did an awesome job!   Adam and I were so proud of her!  She felt and looked like a movie star up there on stage.

{Recital Rehearsal}

Jaedyn enjoyed doing dance all year.  She was so excited to get to rehearse on "Stage" to practice for the rehearsal.

A few weeks ago Jaedyn had Dance Pictures taken at Dance.  She had the class picture taken in her Hip-Hop outfit, but decided at the last minute to have her solo picture taken in her Ballet Costume. 

I only had a chance to do pictures in her Hip-Hop outfit.  We will have to take some in her cute Ballet costume also!

Jaedyn has been dancing for a studio for almost 2 years now.  They are really nice, and Jaedyn enjoys dancing.  When Jaedyn was out for a few weeks because of her accident, her instructors offered to give her a 1 on 1 class to get her caught up.  She loved the attention, and learning 1 on 1 what she had missed.

We were able to see the routines the kids have been working on last week during dance.  I took a little video of each one.  A ballet routine, a tap routine & a hip hop routine.

Jaedyn's Ballet Recital

This past weekend Jaedyn had her "official" dance recital.  She did really well.  A few days before the recital they had a "practice" recital at the place where the recital would be.  They encouraged us to take pictures at the "practice" instead of the actual performance.  (It all looks the same, I promise!)  After her recital we gave her some roses, that made her feel so special.  We tried to stay after her performance and watch the others after her, but Tanner was not having it, so we didn't get to see all our friends perform. 

She has loved being in dance all year and next year will be in a "Vivid" class for students more focused on Dance.  We stumbled on the class, and her teacher thinks she will do great in it.  Next year she will have Hip/Hop as well in that "Vivid" class, and Jaedyn is so excited!
