{Jaedyn's Birthday Party}

Well, It wasn't a formal Birthday Party.  After Jaedyns Baptism, we had everyone come to the house for pizza and cupcakes.  Everyone had fun, and the adults all got to chit chat!

{Landon's 6th Birthday Party}

We went really small this year for Landons Party.  We only invited our closest friends and a friend from Landons class.  We went to a pottery place where the kids were able to paint.  They painted a pottery animal, and after it is fired, they will get to keep it.  This definitely kept the kids occupied.  I wouldn't recommend this party for any age under 6 though.

Then after we painted, we opened some birthday presents.  ( we had to kill some time for Richard to run to Publix and get a lighter.  We forgot to bring one, and the studio didn't have one either!)

{Baby Roxie}

My friend Jennie had her baby last week.  We got to go to the hospital and see baby Roxie.  I swear, she is one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen!  My kids are in LOVE with her!

Seeing Baby Roxie is definitely getting our family excited to meet our little one!

{Thanksgiving}

I didn't take very many pictures of Thanksgiving.  Mostly because I was really busy cooking & cleaning the entire time.  I told Adam that next year, I want to just show up somewhere and have everything done for me.  (yah, right!)  The food was delicious, and everyone was happy.  So that makes it worth it, right?

Ahh!  One thing that was so awesome.... The kids!  They played outside forever.  That was really nice, not to hear fighting & for them to get some fresh air!

{Trick or Treating}

This year we had some friends over to go out Trick or Treating.  Unfortunately we have had some behavior issues with Landon with some steep consequences if he didn't behave.  We had to stick to our guns, and it was hard.  Landon was not able to go Trick or Treating.  (*gasp)  I think, some of you might think I am a mean mom.  But, how else will he learn?  ....  anyways ....  Back to the story.    Landon stayed home and handed out candy, and the rest of us went Trick or Treating.  This year, we found a lot more people who left bowls of candy on their porch with a note to take 1 or 2 pieces.  This was a good lesson for Jaedyn in being an honest person.   We Trick or Treated for about an hour and came home with TONS of candy.  The kids each shared a few pieces with Landon.

(on a side note - Landon does seem for the time being - to "get it".   Here is to hoping it sinks in!)

{Ward Trunk or Treat}

This weekend was our ward (church's) Trunk or Treat and Chili cook off.  By this time it was raining as it had threatened earlier for Math Day so it was held indoors, and not in the parking lot in the trunks.  Either way, we had fun.  I made chili to take, but didn't like my own.  We ate lots of other peoples yummy chilis.    The kids were able to trick or treat the classrooms of the Ward building and came home with lots of candy.  Just about as much as we handed out, they came home with!

Friends

Before school started our friend Kevin had his 30th Birthday.  They invited us to go out to eat with them.  We had so much fun, and had so much good food.  (enough for dinner the next night also)

My friends little boy turned ONE recently and she made him the cutest cake!  My kids were in love, and of course helped him blow out his candle!
