Dad plays Basket Ball
Adam didn't get to play quite as much, only because the games are at night. He was still able to make a few games.

Mom plays Basket Ball
Although the season is over, I had a lot of fun playing Basket Ball. Reminds me of my Middle School & High School days. The girls were rough, the ref's sucked! We all still managed to have fun though!

Wrestling...
The kids LOVE to tickle & rough house with their Daddy! They think it is so fun, and Adam of course loves to play with them.
[ He is totally out numbered, no help from me.... I'm too busy taking pictures]
[At least Tanner still checks to make sure Daddy is ok, so cute!]

A Bean? Really?
So, earlier this week I get a call from Landon's school. They've called to tell me that Landon has stuck a bean in his ear. *sigh* So, I pick him up. Yup, sure enough there is a bean in his ear. I try tweezers, he is wayyy to jumpy for that. So, I try and suction it out. It's not budging. I try to go to Minute Clinic, (why bother, they can't do anything). I call my family doctor, nope. Mind you, Jaedyn will be coming home off the bus in less than an hour, so I am freaking out at this point. So I call my neighbor, she will pick up Jaedyn at the bus stop for me. Then we go to urgent care. They give me this long scoopy thing that will get it out. BUT! Landon is having no part of it. So finally we head to the pediatric emergency room. After about an hour, and Mom, Dad, 2 Nurses and a doctor, water and long tweezers it is out. Needless to say, we have had long conversations about what does, and does not go inside your ear!
Just in case you don't already know the answer to that question "What can you put in your ear?" NOTHING SMALLER THAN YOUR ELBOW! GOT IT! :-)

His cute teeth!
He has just the cutest smile. I love his broken smile, he has 12 teeth so far. His smile is going to be filling up soon so I figured I should document his cuteness!

Would you still read my blog if I made it private? Leave me a comment, I am seriously considering it.

Ballet Pictures...
Last week during ballet, they took pictures. The girls all looked so cute in their little white outfits. The bummer is the TWO! months it will take to get pictures back. Hopefully it will be worth it. She looked so pretty and smiled really naturally for the photographer. I tried to take pictures without overstepping my bounds.
I'm excited to see the proofs online in April.
[Getting ready to head to dance]
[this picture turned out so cute, if only there wasn't Caroline right behind Jaedyn]
[after the group shot, the girls waited for their turn to have individual pictures taken]

Jaedyn lost her very first tooth...
and man is she sooo excited! When she got off the bus yesterday she was so excited to tell me her tooth was REALLY wiggly. This tooth first started getting loose about a week ago. She has been so excited for it to fall out. I told her when Dad got home, I would pull it out for her. She was way too excited to wait for Dad. So we texted Dad and he said as long as we took pictures, we could go ahead and pull her tooth. When I say she was excited, I am not kidding. Not even the checker at Target was spared the details about her loose tooth.
[Jaedyn was so excited to wake up this morning to see what the tooth fairy left her. A whole dollar bill & a note. Jaedyn also noticed glitter everywhere, even on her face. She was so excited & told our neighbor all about it this morning when he picked her up to take her to school. What amazed her was "she even knows how to spell my name"!]
*** Warning, don't look at the pictures if a tooth being pulled will gross you out! ***
[smiling before the tooth is pulled]
[A cute sassy shot I got, really has nothing to do with this post, but whatever]

It's no joke when we say, the work is never done.....
Last weekend we went up to the Lake House and got the grass laid. We figure since sooner than later we will be up there and we are tired of the "red" clay. We hope this helps BIG time!! In all, it probably took about 5-6 hours, and we had lots of helpers. Our trusty friends the Sawyers were so awesome and came up with us. Adam and Kevin did a lot of the work, but about 1/2 way through got some much needed reinforcements. It was rainy out, which made it tough on the mommies, since the kids couldn't really go outside and burn off any energy. We are very glad that it is done now. Hopefully the next few trips up will be just to enjoy, instead of work!
