Halloween Parade & Party @ Pre-School

On Wednesday we had our Halloween Parade & Party.  The kids had fun showing off their costumes again!

Trunk or Treat

Last Saturday we had Trunk or Treat at Church.  The kids had fun, dressed up in their costumes & had their faces painted.  Before we went out to Trunk or Treat the Trunks, we had a ward dinner.  Some of the guys showed off their Chili making skills.  There was a award handed out for best Chili, but I'm not sure how they determined it since I didn't vote, no one I know voted..  hmmm....

Red Top Mountain Photoshoot

Yesterday we had family pictures taken by Nessa of Vanessa Quan Photography.  Whew, what a morning.  Landon was full of energy, but we managed to take some great pictures.  Nessa was great keeping up with the kiddos.  She posted a preview of the pictures she took.

What an energetic group! Mr. L definitely kept me on my toes with his full of life personality so there was no time to waste with pictures. There were sticks to gather, rocks to throw, dirt to get into--he's all boy! Ms. J was lovely and did great in front of the camera--she could certainly strike a pose! And sweet little Baby T., he was too precious for words. He didn't complain and was so easy going. Mom and Dad, enjoy your preview and thanks to Mom for your mounds of energy, it helped me capture some awesome pictures.

** These ended up being so much more expensive then if we decided to go with another photographer.  I am definitely kicking myself now for not asking questions up front, not thinking it would be a problem.  If you decide to have pictures like these done, consider whether or not you want the pictures on a disc & how many pictures you will want to purchase.  If you want to purchase a lot of pictures, then someone who offers a flat price for all the photos is a better way to go.  I would also meet the photographer beforehand, make sure your personalities mesh, it will definitely affect the picture quality & the correspondence that happens after wards!

Jaedyn is always taking my phone, listining to music, playing games, and most of all, taking random pictures.  Usually the pictures are blurry and of random things, like the neighbor cats ear, Tanner's blanket, the ceiling, underneath the table, you get what I mean.  But this picture just seemed cute and creative, so I thought I'd share!

New Glasses

Jaedyn had an eye doctor appointment last Monday & they prescribed her glasses.  They came in today and she loves them.  (of course, since they are Hannah Montana)

Yesterday when I woke up, I went to see what the kids were doing.  I knew they were already awake, but playing nicely.  This is what I saw.

Very cute!  They were watching Shark Tales on dvd.  So cute, we needed to get ready for pre-school so I told them to get dressed.  I came back in after 5 minutes to find this.

Now why can't they do this on Saturdays & Sundays!

Jaedyn is...

Jaedyn is getting so big.  I can not believe my baby girl is 5!!  I know it only gets worse, as they keep aging (and me also) but I take a step back and look, gosh, I have THREE kids!  And my little girl is FIVE!  Jaedyn is such a great helper with her baby brother Tanner.  She loves going to Pre-School, she is in a kindergarten type program at the Pre-School, since she misses the cutoff for public school by 2 days.  We don't mind keeping her home another year.  She is learning her sight words, sounding out words, writing her letters, and much more.  She loves to help, play dress up, paint fingers/toes, have mommy do her hair, hang out with mommy, go shopping, ride her bike, and play on the playground (or as she says it "Play Park").  I am very lucky that the one girl I do have, lets me do all the girly things with her.  I adore my boys, but I do love having a girl.

Where is the time going?

My sweet little boy is 12 weeks old today.  I just adore every minute with him, he is such a sweet spirit. 

So... At 12 weeks we are...

** Laughing
** Cooing
** Rolling over tummy to back
** Holding his head steady
** Is ok with tummy time
** Sleeping 6-8 hours at night

Daddy loves!

Adams first business trip in a few months, Landon is adjusting.  Lately he has been a stinker to his dad saying I only love Mom.  I tell him he can love Mom & Dad & Jaedyn & Tanner..  not just one person.  So it is very cute to hear this conversation.

[Landon] Mom, wheres dad?
[Mom] He is far away at work
[Landon] I want him to come home
[Mom] He will be home in two days
[Landon] But I want him to come home, I very love Daddy
[Mom] Aww.. Dad loves you too, he'll be home soon
[Landon] Can we call Daddy?
[Mom] We can call him in the morning
[Landon] Can you tell him to come home, I very love him.

Landon is....

Getting so big, he is 3 years 5 months old.   He is turning in to such a lovable boy.  Still crazy, don't get me wrong!  But, is being so sweet.  He loves his little brother Tanner. (Jaedyn, not so much - most of the time)  He loves going to Pre-School in Ms. Therese's class.  They are learning how to trace letters, patterning, quantitative skills, and lots of fun stuff.  He loves to ride his bike & scooter, dress himself (not always coordinating), usually has his shoes on the wrong foot, help with Tanner, be independent, and EAT!  Adam & I love all the funny things this kid comes up with.

Pajama Party

On Friday the kids had a Pajama/Popcorn party for the letter Pp at pre-school. The kids were so excited to wear their jammies to school.

Being silly

Tanner was in a great mood and being silly with me.  So cute!

I just downloaded Photoshop mobile for my iPhone, I'm having fun playing with photos on my phone.
