Out on the boat

Over Easter weekend we went up to the Lake house and went out on the boat.  We had a blast, we even threw the kids in the water with their clothes on..  At first they were mad, then they thought it was funny.   This summer should be really fun, being the first summer we have had the house!

Landon's 5 year old checkup

Landon had his 5 year old checkup at the Pediatrician.  He really did not want to be there at all.  He pretty much refused to do almost everything they wanted him to.   Finally, after a lot of convincing he did most everything they asked him to do.  I don't have to tell you he was MAD! at the end when they gave him a shot.  Poor kid!   He did well, passed everything and is still a big boy compared to most 5 year olds.  The doctor kept say, wow, he is really tall.  :-)

I can't believe I have another kid going to Kindergarten next year.  Where is the time going?  I have to say, this year I am much more calm about the whole Kindergarten thing.  Maybe because I've had the best Kindergarten teacher this year, maybe because Landon is a boy.  I don't know, but it sure does make me feel old to have two kids in school now.  We did it, and he is registered to go to Kindergarten in the fall.  Jaedyn's Kindergarten teacher won't be teaching next year (so sad) but I am sure he will have a good teacher!

Pre-K Easter Egg Hunt

Last week Tanner and I got to go to Landon's school and spend some time with him.  While we were there we had lunch, went on an Easter Egg hunt & the kids sang us a cute song.  This was the first time Landon actually stood up and sang with his class.  Usually he wants to sit on my lap and not participate.  I was a proud Mom that he sang for me!

Easter Egg Hunt....

On Saturday we had a Easter Egg hunt up at our Lake House.  We missed our Church Easter Egg hunt & Jaedyn's school Easter Egg hunt because we went up to the Lake House on Friday.  Adam had Friday off work, so we took advantage of the extra time.   The kids had so much fun running and finding the Easter Eggs.  Even Tanner had a blast!

Landon's 5th Birthday Party

For Landon's Birthday party we had a magician come to the house.  We have seen him a few times before, every time their is no shortage of laughs.  The kids laughed so much, it was so funny to watch the kids having so much, fun!  They got to pet the incredibly soft bunny rabbit, eat pizza and eat some cake!  Landon had a great time celebrating his birthday with all his friends.  He is one lucky kid for sure. 

Cupcakes at Pre-K

For Landon's Birthday I took in some Thomas the Train pull-apart cupcakes for snack time.  Landon and his class were so excited to see Tanner and Me...  ok and the cupcakes!  The whole day his class has been singing to Landon, making him feel very special.  His class had a snack and cupcakes.  They sang Happy Birthday to him, he even got to stand on a chair while they sang to him.  He was in heaven!
