Camping

Last week we went up to the Lake House and camped inside the house.  The drywall is starting soon and we were excited to see the progress & get some lake time in.  We had fun playing games at night, but it was insanely hot.  We had brought a box fan, we were so glad we did.  The first day, our friends went out and bought one also for their room.  Although it is fun camping, it will be nice just to go up to the house when it is done, and not worry about all the "camping gear".

Tanner Turns One!

We just had a small little birthday for Tanner.  We got Tanner a little birthday cake & our friends brought him over a gift.  He had so much fun eating his birthday cake, at first he really didn't know what to do with it.  As soon as he got a little taste, he dug in.

Happy Birthday Tanner!

Wow, this year has gone by fast.  What a wonderful year it has been.  Tanner is such a joy to have around, everywhere we go people stop me and tell me what a cute and adorable baby I have.  We think so too.

Tanner Lately.....

** He has 7 teeth
** Says Mama, Dada, Hi, Adam, Ut Oh, Bye, Hi
** Claps, waves and turns his head to say no
** Is walking around furniture, and standing up in the middle of a room unsupported
** Very much likes his Mama to hold him
** Plays independently very well
** Likes to play peek-a-boo
** Loves to bang stuff together
** Loves to watch people dance or be silly
** Does not like to be told no

We sure love this little guy, he has been the perfect addition to our family!

Lake House Update

On our way home from vacation we stopped by the lake house.  We also had bought a dock from someone on the lake so we needed to float that down to our house.  Not a whole lot going on at the house, mostly inside the wall things, so no new pictures of the house.  We did have a fun time moving the dock!

First it had to be unhooked from the property we bought it from.

What would a dock moving day be without a little storm passing through, haha.

Someone had to ride the dock down.

We had one bridge we had to pass under.  The lake has talked about raising this bridge, it's so low!

Safe and sound at our house.  The kids are loving jumping off it & it's nice not to have to launch the boat every time we go out.

We had a little time left over to let the kids play a little.

Our last day of Vacation

We woke up and wanted to do a little shopping before we head home.  We got some yummy sandwiches at a local sandwich shop.

 Then off to the pool.

 While we were at the pool the "Snow Cone Truck" came by.  Of course, were on vacation kids, sure you can have one..

For dinner, we went out to eat at a delicious Mexican restaurant.

We drove to the lake house from Maryland late Friday night and got into South Carolina early Saturday morning.

Vacation - Day 4

The kids are loving playing at the beach, we scratched our plans for today and went back to the beach.  They are definitely getting more comfortable with the water.  We filled up the baby pool for Tanner and he had a blast.

Tanner enjoyed his first peach at the beach!

The tide was coming in and the waves were getting big.  Landon was loving every minute of it!

At nap time, Tanner and Adam were so cute.  Definitely like father like son!

Adam's Dad & Step Mom let us go out to dinner just the three of us.  Almost an official date night!

We all enjoyed the food!

Then for dessert!!   FUNNEL CAKES... these are the best!
