Christmas Morning

The kids woke up at their normal time, and ran downstairs to see if Santa ate his cookies.  They came back upstairs so excited that Santa ate all his cookies, but a half of one, and he took their letters with him.  He left them a few presents on the table in the living room.  We waited for Grandma & Grandpa Freseman (Adams mom & step dad) to come over and then we got to business.

[the presents under the tree]

[he is very excited about his big boy bike!]

 [she loves them!]

[I bought some ribbon and had a friend make Jaedyn some new hair bows, she is so excited!]

[opening my present Jaedyn got for me, she is the sweetest!]

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas.  Even though they started putting Christmas stuff out in July, it still seems like the Christmas season flew by this year.  We spent a lot of time, teaching our kids the real meaning of Christmas.

Cookies for Santa

Christmas Eve we baked cookies for Santa.  The kids each wrote a letter or picture for Santa & we wrote a family letter to Santa.  The kids were very excited for Santa to come while they were sleeping.

Making Ornaments

Before Christmas we had some friends over and made some salt ornaments.  It was a first for me, both of us really.  I saw the recipe on a friends facebook status and decided it looked like fun.  The kids really loved painting them.  It entertained them for over an hour and wasn't too bad.  We put down newspaper and put aprons on the kids and let them have fun.  We got a lot of cute ornaments out of it.

Pancakes with Santa

At Jaedyn's elementary school Liberty, they had their first annual pancakes with Santa.  We went, ate pancakes and took a picture with Santa.

We had some friends over for a Christmas gift exchange.  The hit of the night was definitely these balls.  I just know something is going to get broken in the house with these darn things.  But, the look on Tanners face when he opened his ball, makes it almost worth the impending breakage.  Thanks guys!  Sorry our gifts sucked again this year.  We really aren't that good at gift giving.. :)

Ward Christmas Party

Somehow, although I had my camera with me the entire night, I did not get very many pictures.  It was probably because I was talking too much!  We had fun, the kids had fun & we ate a lot of good food.  The kids got to sit on Santa's lap & tell him what they want.  Somehow, I did not get a good shot of them.. :(

Every year I tell myself I need to get the recipe for Funeral Potatoes, they are at the party every year.  I love them!  I even asked my trusty friend who has a recipe for everything & nope, she doesn't have it!  What?!

Landons Class Party

Landon had his class party last week.  They sang a few songs and had lunch.  Landon does not like to stand up in front of a crowd and sing, so I didn't really get many pictures of him singing.  Adam came for a few minutes, he was on his way to a work meeting.

Landon showed us this candlestick he made.  He was very proud of it!

How Tanner eats ravoli's

Tanner can out eat almost anyone in this family.  I don't know where he packs it away at, but the kid can eat.  When he eats, he means business, shoving everything in his mouth.  Same day we will have to teach him some manners, but for now it is cute.

So Cold!!!

It has been so cold here lately.  In the teens & even a sprinkle of snow.  One night it rained and got so cold that Atlanta iced over.  It took people 4 hours to get home from work and some had to ditch their cars and walk into their sub divisions.  CRAZY!  It would have been worth it if there would have at least been enough snow to play in.

That hat...

Everytime I go out with Tanner, someone stops me and tells me how cute he is.  Lately, I have been stopped all over to ask me where I got this hat.  Well, unfortunately it was a hand me down (thanks Heather H.) and I don't know.  I sure could have made a killing selling these hats if I was smart though!

Box Rides

Tanner is such a funny guy, he will sit in any box/laundry basket/bucket and want to be pushed.  The kids love to oblige.  Jaedyn & Tanner played like this for probably an hour, both giggling the entire time.

Gingerbread houses

Jaedyn had her class Christmas party, they made gingerbread houses.  Jaedyn's mission: to put as much candy on the house as possible.  She had a lot of fun decorating her house & eating the candy!

The finished products!
