{Fun times at the Lake}

While Adam worked on his projects, the big kids played at the lake side.  The played in the sand, climbed on the rocks and swam!  They were out there from morning till dinnertime.  Barely stopping for lunch.

{Labor}

A few weeks ago we spent the weekend up at the lake house.  We had a few projects to tackle, including splitting the logs that were left on the property when we built the house.  Lucky for us a neighbor had a log splitter that we were able to borrow, making the job much easier.  Adam started off doing it, and was joined by 2 more helpers.  Even Tanner got a chance to help!  The guys were so good with him, patiently letting him help. 

Finally, after a long day, it's done.  There are still some long pieces left, but that will be another day.

{Happy 8th Birthday Jaedyn}

My sweet Jaedyn turned 8 today.  Why does time go by so fast?  She had a great day, played at the Lake House all weekend, went to the American Girl Doll store, and out to dinner.  This sweet girl has changed me in so many ways.  I always knew I wanted to be a mom - and lucky for me, I was lucky enough to get a daughter like Jaedyn.  She is the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful girl I know!  Adam and I are so lucky!!  :)

{Tanners First day of Pre-School}

Tanner had his first day of pre-school last week.  He was excited to show off all his Mickey Mouse stuff.  When I picked him up, he was so excited to tell me all about what he did during the day.  Love this little guy, and I sure do miss him when he is gone!

Well, just randomly.  Not for anyone, or at anything special.  But lucky for me, I've had my camera in hand and caught a few cute ones.  I guess that is the good part of making bows/headbands non stop.  Is that I have a cute model to take pictures with, that gives me some cute smiles now and then!

Now that the big kids are off at school, it is just Tanner, Bryn and Me.  Tanner loves having Bryn all to himself.  I love having both of them to myself.  These two are the sweetest kids ever.  There is no shortage of loves and kisses when Tanner is around!

I just love seeing Adam with Bryn.  He is so sweet with her, and I can tell she already adores him. 

{First Day of School}

We started school on August 1st.  It is a bummer to see the Summer end so quickly, but it is nice to have 2 extra week long breaks during the school year.  Jaedyn is so excited, her 1st grade teacher moved to 2nd grade and we were able to stay in her class.   Landon's first grade teacher seems really super nice and he is loving her!  Here are the cuties on their first day!

{Pool Days}

We tried the pool one last time before school started.  With 4 kids, it can be challenging at the pool.  But I am happy to report it went well, and no one had to be saved by the lifeguard!  The kids LOVE swimming at the pool.  (Can't you tell)  Sweet Bryn just hung out for the event.  Was a great day!

{Bryn's Baby Blessing}

Yesterday we blessed our sweet Bryn.  We had a few friends come over and did it at home.  The same way we did Tanners blessing.  We had dinner and a delicious cake after the blessing.  Bryn looked so cute in her white dress.  Nothing super fancy!  Was a great day.
