Relief Soceity Bunco Night

The other night I volunteered my house for a Relief Society activity, Bunco.  We had a really fun time & I think all the girls would agree.

School

Jaedyn goes to the bus stop at 7:15 in the morning.  It starting to get cold & it's DARK outside.  Man, it is hard to wake up.  Somehow, she is happy every morning and loves going to school.

This little guy is so darn adorable.  He has the cutest personality ever.  He loves his mommy so much, and I can't get enough of him. 

Moving our stuff

This past weekend we were able to rent a truck and take all our stuff up to the lake house.  We put everything in the garage and drove the truck right back.  It was a long trip, a lot of loading and unloading.  Hopefully it will make moving in easier to have everything already there.  Tanner was the only one who came with us, so it was nice not to have to worry about kids.

Lake House Update

This weekend we went up to the house, we are moving the stuff in the house on Thursday and watching General Conference up there this weekend.  We were very excited to see the floors were done, carpet was in downstairs and the stair treads are going in.

Fall Break

Well, Fall break is over and we had fun.  We ended our week by going to the Y.  We went swimming, then played on the playground outside.  Somehow I forgot to take pictures of us actually swimming, but I promise we did!

Fall Break

This week the kids had off for Fall Break.  It was nice not having to wake up and get everyone out the door.  We started off the week going to the park (it is still really hot out) and had lunch with some friends.  Then we hung out with some different friends and had a sleep over at grandmas.  I love having the time to myself when the kids are at school.  But, I really miss being able to spend time with them.

French Fries

The other day we have Tanner some french fries to hold him over in the car.  He was so excited to eat the french fries and hold the box all himself. 

Lake House Update

We are getting to the final stretch on the house.  We are very excited to be able to move our stuff into the house.  Tomorrow we will take all our stuff and put it in the garage.  Next week we will be able to move stuff in.

The steps to the front door and garage got bricked this week.

Most of the remaining lights got hung.  The dining room light is the one we have been waiting to see up.

The fireplace is finished.  The stone color ended up working really well with the wall color.  It is really hard to pick colors from small samples and on so many different textures.  So far, we haven't had to change any decisions. 

Almost everything in the kitchen has been corrected.  We are still waiting for the cabinet that goes above the stove to come in.  It will be smaller & will set out 3 inches from the other cabinets.

The shelving in the closets got put in.

Painting is finally all finished.  This is Landons room.

The garage doors finally were able to go up now that painting is all done.

I can't wait to blog about fun things we've done up there.. and how the inside looks with everything in.  It's so close!
