The other day Tanner wanted to pick out his own socks. He looked pretty cute if I say so myself!

{Temple}
Last week we took some pictures in front of the Atlanta Temple. We are so fortunate to have a Temple so close by. Adam & I try to make it at least once a month to do a session. Last week was my in-laws first time to the Temple. They took out their endowments and then were sealed for eternity.

{Playing so nicely}
Usually around here, when it gets quiet.... I worry. It was quiet the other day - and I went looking. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this! ADORABLE!

{Decorating for Christmas}
We have started decorating for Christmas around here. I bought new ornaments on clearance last year, and changed our tree from blue - to red & silver/gold. I am loving the new colors. We put up the tree for Family Home Evening and let the kids help. We had Christmas music playing and everyone loved decorating the tree. We hung up our stockings also. (they even have a few things in them already - NO PEAKING!)

{Thanksgiving}
I didn't take very many pictures of Thanksgiving. Mostly because I was really busy cooking & cleaning the entire time. I told Adam that next year, I want to just show up somewhere and have everything done for me. (yah, right!) The food was delicious, and everyone was happy. So that makes it worth it, right?
Here are the few pictures I did take....
Ahh! One thing that was so awesome.... The kids! They played outside forever. That was really nice, not to hear fighting & for them to get some fresh air!

[the yummy Turkey & side dishes.. we had delicious desserts, but they never made it on camera!]

{Jaedyns Thanksgiving Feast}
Jaedyns performance wasn't as elaborate as Landons, they had a reading in their class. After each student took turns reading they sang a few songs. Then it was time to eat. Her class brought so much food, it was crazy. It was lunch time so everyone was hungry!

{Jaedyn at School}
Jaedyn is loving school. She always has. Her teacher loves her because she is always so well behaved. One day she did have to do 3 laps around the playground for talking, but she didn't mind. Jaedyn thought it was healthy for her to get some exersize. Funny girl! She doesn't have a favorite subject yet, but she enjoys reading and math groups.

{Jaedyn lost 2 teeth}
When Jaedyn was a baby, after she got her first tooth, two more came in together. She was such a good teether as a baby that I was surprised she wasn't fussy for these two. After going to the dentist we were told those teeth were fused together. (no wonder I couldn't floss them) When I worked in Dental - I only worked with adults & teenagers. I never saw a patient with fused teeth. (so I realize this post may be way more interesting to me, since I work with teeth, than any of you... sorry)
Anyways.... About a month ago I noticed her tooth growing in behind those fused teeth. I was worried we would have to have them pulled. (since the permanent (adult) teeth, resolve the roots of the baby teeth as the permanent tooth grows in & that is why they fall out) But then, about a week ago Jaedyn told me her tooth was loose. So after a week of wiggling and a very hard pull, the tooth came out. (or teeth I should say)
The tooth fairy gave her $2 ($1 for each tooth) and left her a note. She left lots of glitter just like she did last time. Jaedyn woke up so excited to see her $$$, note & of course, glitter!

{Thanksgiving Play & Feast}
Landon had his Thanksgiving Play & afterwards a feast in his classroom. The play was very cute and the sang a few songs afterwards. Landon was a Pilgrim Man & his part of the play was, every time the story said Pilgrim Men - he said bang-bang-bang. There were a few different parts, and each part had something else to say. Landon used to have stage fright, but he did really well!
[trying to wave hi, but being upstaged by the really cute "corn" girl in front of him]
[singing yum-yum-yum]
[bang-bang-bang]
[love that cutie smile!]
[and a Landon smile - love this boy, he is so cute]

{Christmas Pictures}
I am in the process of making our 2011 Family scrapbooks and needed to have some "December" pictures. So before Church on Sunday, I dressed everyone in their Christmas outfits and we took some pictures.
It was a little frustrating and a lot of them came out blurry because of "active" kids. We did get a few keepers.

{Teeth}
Tanner has started a "biting" phase. Whenever he gets frustrated, or the big kids are not letting him play with them he bites them. I know this happens because he doesn't talk yet.
It has been frustrating
1. teaching Tanner not to bite and
2. teaching the other kids to be nice to Tanner & let him play with them.
We have been teaching Tanner not to bite with his teeth. In doing this we ask him to show us his teeth. This makes him do the cutest smile.
So - here is his "Teeth" smile

{Zoo Atlanta}
Someone Adam works with gave him some free tickets to the Zoo. We invited some friends and off to the Zoo we went. We have been to the Atlanta Zoo once before, but the kids didn't remember going. This was Tanners first time going. The kids were really excited to see the Lions & the Panda's. The kids loved petting the animals in the petting zoo in the park and at the playground. It was a very nice day out, a little cold, but not too bad. It was good Zoo weather.
