Friends...

Some of our bestest friends who moved away last year, came to Atlanta for a visit.  We were so excited to see them.  Even complete with a sleep over.  We sure do miss them tons!  There are some friends that when they move away you lose touch.  These guys will be our friends no matter how far they move.  We hope with Richards new job, visiting Atlanta will happen more often!  The kids played very well, and we had to go to our FAVORITE restaurant.

They had another baby a few months ago.  She is the sweetest baby!

Julia loved Tanner.  We caught them kissing a few times.  It seems like yesterday Julia was Tanners size.

We celebrated Hailey's "5th" Birthday. 

Tanner was determined to get Julia's binky.  She loved to talk to Tanner.

I can't wait for these guys to come visit again!  We miss you guys already!

Lake House Update

It's been awhile since I have posted an update.  Things are progressing, drywall is finished.  The doors and molding are being put in & paint has started.  I can't wait to see the paint colors we've picked out on the walls.  Being a "Lake House" we went with more Lake House colors.  Also, the siding is complete.  We did different siding on the gables & the front of the garage.  It's nice to see what it looks like.  We like it.

Some of these pictures are fuzzy, a friend took them for us & emailed them.  We are very grateful for mid-week updates from them!

Landon & Daddy Night

Adam took Landon to his first baseball game.  Even though it was a school night, we made an exception and Landon did great.  He had so much fun, they ate almost every ballpark food they could get their hands on.  Landon even got to see some fireworks on a home run. 

Pool Time

We are really going to miss going to the pool everyday now that school has started!  It seems like the Summer flew by so quickly.

Pre-K

Landon also started school on Monday.  It was his first day of Pre-K at a new school.  Some of his friends from Childs Play were there and he was excited to get back into the routine of school.  He goes almost as long as Jaedyn does.

Next year we will do this all over again, it will be Landons turn to go to Kindergarten.  He is rough and tough, I don't worry about him as much as I do Jaedyn going to school.

We survived....

Jaedyn loved her first day of school.  She loved riding the bus & had a great day at school.

Jaedyn's best friend Caitlin who is in 1st grade this year promised to sit by Jaedyn on the bus.  This made me feel much better!

This was a cute picture, even though she was not nervous at all for her first day of Kindergarten.

I was very glad I got to see her in her classroom really quick.  In all the excitement I forgot to send her school supplies with her, so I quickly dropped them off.  

I was able to get a few pictures of her getting off the bus.  It was crazy with parents getting on the bus, another mom was blocking all the pictures as she walked her kid onto the bus. 

Kindergarten!

Today is the day, the day Jaedyn starts Kindergarten.  While she is excited, I am sad to see my little girl go.  At pre-school she was in a much smaller class, with two teachers that could watch over her.  Now, her class is full with 22 students and 1 teacher (a 2nd floating teacher)  Plus, now, she is riding the bus.  I am really not happy about that, but every other kid is, so I feel like she should be able to also.  I worry that kids will be mean to her on the bus, and who know what else happens on buses.  I hope that she doesn't struggle to learn and that it will be easy for her, I hope she makes friends in her class.  I hope she is able to stand up for herself if someone is mean to her.  I hope that I have given/taught her the skills to do well.  Lets just say I have not slept well in days worrying about today.

She however, is very excited to go to her new school and ride the bus.  Here are some pictures of her meet and greet last week.

Lake House Update

It has been a little while since I've updated on the house.  Lot's is going on up there!

The framing got done, and the insulation was put up.  We were excited to see that they had insulated the inside walls as well as the basement ceiling.  This will make the house a lot quieter!

The Stucco is done and the siding is being put up.

Now, the drywall is going up.

While we were there, they were still hanging the drywall in some of the rooms.

In one of the bedrooms downstairs they needed to box in some of the area for the air conditioning.  This will be Landon and eventually Tanners room also.
